Nemegt Sunrise

Conchoraptor gracilis clutches a hermit crab inside a Viviparus river snail shell. Reeds and ancient cycads obscure the light of the rising sun, lending a pink-tinged hue to the scene. © Raven Amos

Swamp Dragon

Icthyovenator laosensis, a spinosaurid dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of Laos, cruises along a duckweed-choked swamp. Pale cypress trees grow in the background with a few ferns clinging to their roots. A fish leaps out of the water next to the dinosaur while another fish becomes dinner. © Raven Amos

Aurora Ornatus

A purple and orange striped Anchiceratops ornatus walks across dark purple rocks as a bright display of aurora borealis shines overhead. The blue snow-covered mountains in the background glow unnaturally as the dinosaur navigates through the forest. © Raven Amos

A Fall Day Out

A mother Leptoceratops and her 3 chicks forage in the cycad undergrowth on a fall day. The chicks are small and fuzzy like the chicks of a bird, compared to the mother who has a coarser, darker coat with porcupine-like spines along her striped tail. © Raven Amos

Styracosaurus Jungle

An electric blue Styracosaurus with bright orange scales and eye spots on its face peers out through a riot of cycads. Its bright blue horns and red eye seem to glow against the background. © Raven Amos

Lesser Bowertyrant (Gorgosaurus libratus)

A pair of Gorgosaurus court in the male's carefully constructed bower of bones, stones, trees and branches. The female looks skeptically at the male as he bows his head and flares his tiny arm "wings" and the fan of iridescent green and brown feathers on his tail. His bright blue and red facial colors are a contrast to the draber colors of the female. © Raven Amos

Troodon in the Rushes

A troodon pauses for a drink at a rush-lined creek in the Colville River Basin, North Slope, Alaska ~70 million years ago. The scene shows a setting sun framed by a large gingko tree growing by the banks of the stream, ferns, and horsetails. The troodon looks right at the viewer face-on. © Raven Amos
