Pure coincidence was at work enabling these images to essentially be pointed in the same direction. Or is it? Am I exhibiting a kind of handedness when it comes to painting or drawing? Am I in possession of an unconscious (and remorseless) bias? Must remember to ask Emily Willoughby about her findings on this notion or something.

Ugrunaaluk and Gryposaurus skulls, doing what that do best: rest peacefully either on display or in a collection drawer somewhere.
Deinocheirus! As might be inferred from the title of this post, this is what's in my image-editing application at the moment (among other things, but for sciart, am I going to share those? Obviously not).
This is an intermediate state wherein I block out the areas to be converted to vector. The colors are to keep me from being confused when I zoom in; I don't want gaps in some areas, nor much overlap in others. Proper colors will be applied after it's vectorized in Illustrator.
Update: added a new version of the same image—made the mandible a bit more robust & such.
Some progress on that Deinocheirus skull. Anything I should change?
