A mother Leptoceratops and her 3 chicks forage in the cycad undergrowth on a fall day. One of my few "painterly" pieces - I usually go for a more graphical, line work based style. Now available as shirts and other products through the Neatoshop!
This painting accompanied the original display of "Buster" the Ferrisaurus sustutensis at the Royal BC Museum Pocket Gallery 2019-2020.
In 2025 the painting was supposed to accompany the fossil again on a 5 year tour of Canada's Royal museum system - however, due to the sabre-rattling of President Trump threatening to annex Canada by force and slapping the country with ever-shifting tariffs, the museum was forced to choose an alternative, non-U.S. based artist's work to accompany the fossil. I don't blame the museum for being forced to make that decision - the fault lies firmly with the administration who threaten our allies with war or annexation.
